1. What we collect

From subscribing

• Email address — captured by Stripe at checkout, used to send your receipt and your activation pair.
• Name — captured by Stripe if you provide it.
• Billing details — handled only by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

From activation requests

• Machine code — a 16-character identifier shown by NovaQuant on first launch, derived from stable identifiers on your computer (OS-level GUID, hostname, etc). We use it to bind your license to your machine.
• Anything you choose to write in the activation request email or any follow-up email.

From the website

• Standard server logs kept by our static-site host (Netlify). These typically include IP address, user-agent, and request URL. We use them only for security, abuse prevention, and basic uptime monitoring.

2. What we don't collect

• Your trading history, positions, P&L, or watchlist composition.
• Your exchange API keys or any credentials you configure inside NovaQuant.
• Browsing or behavioral analytics on this website.
• Any content of charts, signals, or paper trades from inside the desktop app.

The desktop application processes everything locally on your computer. When it talks to the network, it talks to public market-data endpoints (Binance) and to whatever notification destinations you configure (Discord webhook, Telegram bot, your own webhook URL). It never reports back to us.

3. How we use it

• To bill you for the subscription you signed up for.
• To deliver and re-deliver your license + activation pair.
• To respond to support and activation requests.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized license sharing.

4. Third parties

NovaQuant relies on a small number of third parties. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing for customers who choose Stripe at checkout.
• PayPal — payment processing and subscription billing for customers who choose PayPal at checkout.
• Netlify — static website hosting.
• Google (Gmail) — receiving and replying to support / activation emails sent to novaquantlabs@gmail.com. This is also how we manually deliver the NovaQuant package and your activation pair after we verify each subscription.

We do not share your data with any other party for marketing, analytics, or advertising purposes.

5. Data retention

• Subscription / billing records — kept for as long as required by Stripe and applicable tax law.
• Activation correspondence — kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after, in case you reinstate or change machines.
• Server logs — kept for the short retention period set by Netlify (typically days, not months).

6. Cookies & tracking

This website does not set first-party tracking cookies and does not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or similar behavioural analytics. Stripe-hosted and PayPal-hosted checkout pages may set their own cookies on their own domains; those are governed by Stripe's and PayPal's privacy policies respectively.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold on you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Delete your data — subject to our need to retain billing records to comply with tax / accounting law.
